It’s finally Friday. Baseball playoffs start next week as we flip the calendar to October; the year’s flying by. Summer is long gone as we start to see the rain out here in the Pacific Northwest. Well, this week was much calmer than normal as we launched two blogs over the past few days. Hey, 50% of those two were from AmLaw firms. It is amazing to hear so many politicians making proposals in both the House and the Senate regarding health care reform without even a passing nod to the Constitutional authority of Congress to enact such legislation. I know the idea of Federalism and the Constitution must seem quaint and old fashioned to many of them when they are doing the “right” thing and being modern and progressive (liberal) with the ambitious plans proffered. I suppose they feel that you can’t a little thing like the law stand in the way of an expansion of government power and taking care of the little people.
